Glockenspiel on "Little Wing"

[edit]

Does anyone have a reference for Mitchell being the musician playing the glockenspiel on "Little Wing"? (See "Personnel" subsection). I've always read it was Jimi, and that's what I found reference-wise so far too. ---Sluzzelin talk 22:33, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Changed – refs say Hendrix played the glockenspiel (see "Little Wing"). —Ojorojo (talk) 17:49, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Differing UK and US Track Titles Specified in Track Listing

[edit]

The track listing section currently has two tracks that specify differing track titles for the UK and US releases:

"If Six Was Nine" (US edition spelling "If 6 Was 9")
"You've Got Me Floating" (US edition spelling "You Got Me Floatin'")

While the UK track titles are correct as they appear on the media label (Track Record 613 003), the UK gatefold actually uses the same titles as the US release (Reprise Records RS 6281), i.e., "If 6 Was 9" and "You Got Me Floatin'", respectively.

I'm unaware of guidance on which of the gatefold (/back cover) or media label should be used when they differ and don't know what to do in this case but feel this is worth pointing out.

(For what it's worth, my experience is that the gatefold/back cover is more reliable for titles while the media label is more reliable for composers when the two differ (though the opposite is sometimes the case).)
